That Step

I stand on the edge of a cliff
Wondering if
Should I fall to the darkness below
Or ride it out, go with the flow.
I cannot decide jump or glide.

The storm on the horizon cries out to me
Of things to come, things to be
I know I must face it
I cannot replace it
This path I wanted to take.

The time is here to face that fear
To take that fall
To grow and be tall
That step towards my future is here.
